Part II Engineering students

Towards the end of their academic year, Part I Engineering students are faced with the task of nominating their preferred specialisation for the rest of their degree. Here are some useful resources that can help you with this decision:


1. Academic information and forms

This page contains all the necessary academic information about specialisations, their requirements and placement procedures, and will you an overview of the formal process. Your online application form for your chosen Part II specialisation will also be availabe here from 12 October


2. Q & A events

Q & A events will be held over two days, and they cover all the available options for Part II. These will give you a chance to ask specific questions and interact directly with the people who best understand them. They will be held on the following dates:

3. Part II student editorials

Our Part II student editorials are an excellent resource if you wish to gain an insight to each specialisation from your peers who have experienced them. Each student is currently going through their Part II journey, and you will be able to read some stories about their expectations, triumphs, and observations. These contain overviews of not just the subject areas, but also the unique student life of associated with each specialisation. There is also plenty of advice that will be relatable to Part I students, so read on!
